Guided Historical Walking Tours

August 19

The 12,000 Year History Park on Congaree Creek is located in the City of Cayce and is less than 10 miles from Columbia, South Carolina. Congaree Creek includes three miles of trails in connection with the Three Rivers Greenway. Paths are paved, well-lit at night and ADA compatible.

Walking tours, which are based on site archeology, are led by professional guides trained by the National Park Service that talk about South Carolina’s rich history surrounding the Civil and Revolutionary war eras. All tours start at the Cayce Tennis Center, 1120 Fort Congaree Trail in Cayce and are 60 to 90 minutes.
