Get ready for a whole month of Total Solar Eclispe fun at the South Carolina State Museum. Every Saturday the museum will be full of Solar Eclipse related activities for kids, including:
Creating Pinhole Projectors
Discovering the Solar Spectrum with UV beads and spectroscopes
Angular Momentum experience
Understand how the eclipse happens with eclipse models
Learn how telescopes work with Galileoscopes
SCE&G Solar Science Saturdays are free with museum general admission or membership. Saturday activities will also take place during the Total Solar Eclipse weekend and are included with ticket purchase.
This event will be handing out free eclipse glasses to guests courtesy of the City of Columbia, S.C.! Available on event date and time only.
