Sunday August 27 3:00 p.m. – Post Syzygy Panel Project:

The Jasper Project will present a post Syzygy panel in two parts, (part one – Post-Syzygy Poetry, part two – Post-Syzygy Plays), one week following the total solar eclipse celebrations on August 27th at the Richland Library.

The panel will be free and open to the public.

The purpose of the panel is to facilitate public interaction with professional literary artists in a casual setting as they reflect on and critically analyze the recent eclipse itself, its historical implications, and the role it plays in our culture by bringing SC citizens and visitors together for its celebration and commemoration

Panel participant-moderators will be Professor Ed Madden (USC) for the poets and Professor Jon Tuttle (FMU) for the playwrights. All participating poets and playwrights will be invited to attend.

This event will be handing out free eclipse glasses to guests courtesy of the City of Columbia, S.C.! Available on event date and time only.

Located at Richland Library Main in Columbia, S.C., hosted by The Jasper Project.
